Prabhat has worked in the education, training and employability sector for over 35 years and is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their aspirations and dreams.

He started his careers with the Department of Education and Employment where he was involved in the introduction of NVQ programmes across government departments and the development of occupational standards for several qualifications. Having moved into his own business Prabhat set-up one of the first recruitment company providing IT staff from India, he later owned a training company offering a range of accredited qualifications to young people aged between 16 and 24 and developed an eLearning platform that could be used by students based in other countries who wanted to achieve British qualifications but could not afford to study in the UK.

Prabhat has worked as a freelance consultant supporting young people who are not in employment, education or training in partnerships with training companies, colleges, businesses, charities and Department of Work and Pension.
